Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
This policy covers prosaround.com and business.prosaround.com, run by Bud Innovative LLC (“Pros Around”, “we”). Our address is 1207 Delaware Ave #844, Wilmington, DE 19806. For questions about this policy, use the form in section 7 or write to [email protected].
Customers never need an account to use Pros Around. Pros create one to manage their listing. This page explains what we hold, who sees it and how to see it or remove it.
1. Information We Collect
- When you request a quote: your name, phone number, email (optional), what you need done, your preferred contact time, the consent you gave and when and from which address you gave it, the page you came from, any campaign tags in the link, your device type and the site that referred you.
- When you ask to see a pro's phone number (on pages where we ask first): the phone number you will call from, your email if you give one, the consent you gave and when and from which address. We text one code to that number to check that it is yours (message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out); we use the number for nothing else unless you also asked us to contact you. If you then call that pro from that number, the record of the call keeps your email and consent. If you do not call, we delete these about two to three days later.
- When you call a pro: your phone number, the length of the call, a recording and a written transcript (see section 4).
- When nobody answers and you leave a voicemail or talk to our automated assistant: your phone number, the recording, and what you tell it (your name, what you need and a number to call you back).
- When you use a contact form on a pro's own website that reports to us: your name, phone number, email and message, and the page and campaign it came from.
- When you join a waitlist: your email and the city or service you picked.
- When you leave a review: the review, any photos you attach, and your name. Only your first name and last initial are shown publicly.
- When you are a pro who signs up or claims a listing: your business name, your name, phone, email, the ZIP code of your business address, and your licence number where your trade needs one. You can also give a street address and the link to your Google Business Profile; both are optional. The business name, your ZIP code, the areas you serve, your street address (unless you tick "Hide my street address") and your Google link are shown publicly on your listing, and the address, ZIP code and link are also given to search engines in the page's structured data. You can change or remove any of them in your settings. Your profile (description, photos, hours, page address and the website, Facebook and Instagram links you add) is shown publicly on your page. If you give us your website address to set up faster, we read that site's public pages to suggest details, and keep only what you choose to add.
- When you ask for your data: the email address or mobile number you give us.
- Visit counts: anonymous daily totals per page and campaign. They hold no cookies, addresses or visitor IDs. (The short-lived visit ID used to show the right phone number is described in section 5.)
- Nearest city: on the home page, we use the approximate position your network tells us (from your internet address) once, to suggest the nearest city we cover and to fill in the city box. We do not store it, link it to you or send it to anyone, and your browser keeps the answer only for as long as the tab is open. If your network does not tell us, nothing is suggested.
- Ad counts: when a local ad is shown or clicked, we add one to a count for that ad, with the page it was on, the type of device (phone, tablet or computer), the country (and US state when your network tells us), and the hour. The advertiser sees these totals. They hold no name, address, cookie or visitor ID, and we do not keep your browser's details. When you click an ad, we add campaign tags (such as utm_source=prosaround) to the advertiser's link so their own site can tell the visit came from us.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To pass your request or call to the pro you chose, and to confirm it by email if you gave an address.
- To ask you for a review a few days later, by email, when you contacted a pro through a form, or called from the number you gave us and gave an email.
- To keep a record that you agreed to be contacted, so we can prove it if asked.
- To check a lead when a pro disputes it, and to block spam and abuse.
- To show reviews, and to tell you when pros are listed in a city you joined the waitlist for.
- To place a pro on the pages for the ZIP codes, counties, cities and states they serve, starting from the ZIP code of their business address.
We pass your request to the pro you chose, because you asked us to connect you, and that pro pays Pros Around for the request or call. We do not sell your information to advertisers or data brokers. We send a text message to a consumer only when you ask for one: a one-time link when you ask for your data by text (section 7), or a one-time code when you ask to see a pro's phone number (section 1).
4. Call Tracking & Recording Disclosure
The phone numbers shown on pro listings are tracking numbers run through Twilio. A call to one is forwarded to the pro's business phone. Every caller hears “This call may be recorded” first, and the call is recorded from the moment the pro answers. If the pro turns transcripts on, a written transcript is made too. We keep the caller's number, the city and state it comes from, the length of the call and the page that showed the number, so the pro and Pros Around can see which listing produced the call. If nobody answers you can leave a voicemail, which is recorded the same way. The pro can listen to recordings and read transcripts, and we may use them to check a disputed lead. Recordings are kept in private storage for 90 to 180 days, depending on the pro's plan, then deleted. If you would rather not be recorded, send a quote request instead of calling.
We do not create or store voiceprints, face scans or other biometric identifiers. Recordings are stored as audio. If a pro turns transcripts on, our phone provider turns the audio into text; we do not ask it to identify speakers.
6. How Long We Keep Information
- Requests and calls are kept while the pro and Pros Around need them to run the service and settle billing.
- The record of your consent (what you agreed to, when and from where) is kept for 5 years, because the law requires us to be able to prove it.
- A request to see a pro's number that is not followed by a call is deleted two to three days after it was made.
- Reviews stay until you ask us to delete them. Waitlist entries stay until we tell you your city is open or you ask us to delete them.
- Call recordings are deleted after 90 to 180 days, depending on the pro's plan. Technical logs are deleted after 90 days.
7. Your Choices & Rights
You can download a copy of your data or ask us to delete it. We email you a link that works once and expires in an hour, so nobody else can ask on your behalf.
If you ask by text message, we send one text to the number you give, with a link that works once for one hour. We do not use the number for marketing, and we do not share mobile numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.
What deleting does
- Removes your name, phone, email and job description from every contact, and deletes your reviews and waitlist entries.
- Deletes the recordings and transcripts of your calls (ask with the mobile number you called from: we text that number a link, which is how we know the calls are yours), and removes your phone number, location, the page you came from and anything you told the automated assistant from the call record. The record that a call happened (its date and length) stays, for billing.
- We keep the record that you consented to be contacted for 5 years. It no longer includes your name or number.
- Pros you contacted may already hold your details themselves; ask them directly to delete those.
Only called and gave no email? Contact us and we will verify and process your request by phone number.
Correct your information, or opt out or limit a use
To fix something we hold about you, to opt out of a use, or to limit the use of a detail, send us a request. Please write from the email address on the record, so we can check it is you. We answer within 45 days.
8. Security
Your contact details are visible only to the pro you contacted and to the Pros Around staff who need them to run the service. We limit how often a form can be submitted and we filter automated traffic.
If a breach of security puts your information at risk, we will tell the people affected and the authorities as the law requires. To report a security problem, write to [email protected].
Pros Around is for people in the United States. We do not aim it at people in other countries.
9. Your California Privacy Rights
If you live in California, you have these rights over the personal information we hold about you: to know what we collect and why, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of its sale or sharing, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and to be treated the same whether or not you use these rights.
What we collected in the last 12 months, and why
- Identifiers (name, phone number, email address, IP address when you submit a form): from you. To send your request or call to the pro you chose, to contact you, to keep a record that you agreed to be contacted, to check a lead a pro disputes, and to block spam.
- Commercial information (what you asked a pro for, your ZIP code and city): from you. To pass your request to the pro you chose.
- Internet and network activity (the pages you viewed, where you came from, campaign tags, device type): from your browser. To show you the right phone number, credit a call to a page, and (where analytics is on, see section 5) count visits.
- Audio and electronic information (call recordings, voicemail and, if the pro turns them on, transcripts): from your call. To run the service, check a lead and settle billing. Retention is in section 6.
- Approximate location (the city and state of a caller, from the phone network; and, on the home page only, the position your network tells us, used once to suggest the nearest city and not kept): from your call or your visit. To show the pro where the call came from.
Who receives it. The pro you contacted receives your identifiers, request and consent record, because you asked us to connect you. Companies that run the service for us (section 3) receive what they need to do so. In the last 12 months we have not sold your personal information to advertisers or data brokers, and we have not shared it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where analytics or display ads are on (section 5), they use cookies; you can turn them off in Your privacy choices, and we honor the Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. Because we do not sell or share personal information in that sense, there is no “Do Not Sell or Share” link; if that changes, we will add it before it does.
How long we keep it. Section 6 gives the time for each kind of record. We keep a record only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, to settle billing and disputes, or to meet a legal duty such as proving consent.
Sensitive personal information. We do not ask for it and we do not use it to work out anything about you. A call recording holds whatever the caller says, so please do not give sensitive details on a call that is recorded.
How to make a request. Use the form in section 7 to see or delete what we hold (we send a one-time link to the email address or phone number on the request, which is how we check it is you). To correct information, to opt out, or to limit use, write to [email protected] from the address you used, or use our Contact page. An authorized agent may send a request for you with your written permission; we may ask you to confirm it with us directly. We answer within 45 days, and tell you if we need up to 45 more.
We do not treat you differently for using these rights.
10. Children's Privacy
Pros Around is for adults. It is not directed to children, and you must be at least 18 to send a request, write a review or create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect, sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you think a child has given us information, tell us on the form in section 7 and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
When what we do with information changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
