We’re Still Adding Document Preparation Pros in Palmer.

These services help you fill in and organise forms and paperwork, for example typing, formatting and checking that fields are complete. They are not law firms and cannot choose which forms are right for you. Ask what exactly they will do.

Ask first. Rules differ by state, and many places limit what a non-lawyer can do. Ask the provider to explain what they can and cannot do. If you need advice on which form to use or what to say, speak to a lawyer.

Bring the forms you need to complete, identification if the form calls for it, and the details and papers that go into the form. Ask beforehand what to bring so the visit is not wasted.

Ask the provider before you start how they check their work, what happens if an office rejects a form because of their error, and what you must check yourself. Read what you sign and keep copies.

No. A notary witnesses signatures and confirms identity. A document preparer helps fill in the paperwork. Some businesses offer both. Ask whether the provider also notarises, and whether that is included.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
