We’re Still Adding HR Consulting Pros in Nome.

Common reasons include writing a staff handbook, setting up hiring and onboarding steps, handling a workplace complaint, or growing past the point where the owner can manage people alone. Ask the consultant how they would approach your situation.

No. An HR consultant advises on people practices and processes. A lawyer gives legal advice. Pros Around does not give legal advice. If your question is about legal rights or a dispute, ask a qualified lawyer as well.

Bring any existing policies, a list of roles, and a clear description of what is going wrong or what you want to set up. Be ready to say how many people work for you and where. Ask how the consultant keeps this information private.

Some do workplace investigations and some do not. Ask whether they handle complaints, how they stay impartial, what they put in writing, and when they suggest bringing in a lawyer.

Yes, employment rules differ by state and sometimes by city. Ask the consultant how they make sure advice fits where your staff work, especially if you have employees in more than one place.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
