We’re Still Adding Makeup Artist Pros in Tehachapi.

Ask to see photos of recent work on skin like yours, what products they use, how long the application takes, and whether they travel to you. Tell them about any product allergies.

Some do and some work from a studio only. Ask about travel, set-up needs such as light and a chair, and whether there is any extra charge.

Many artists offer one so you can agree on the look. Ask whether it is available, how it is booked, and whether it is charged separately.

It depends on the state and the setting, and rules differ. Ask whether any licence or permit applies in your state. Pros Around does not check insurance.

Ask the artist what they want from you. Many ask you to arrive with a clean face. Tell them about any sensitivities before they start.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
