Ask about their training, their experience with people at your level, and how they plan sessions. A first meeting to talk through your goals shows you how they communicate.

Tell them your goals, your training history, any injuries and what you do not like. If you have a health condition, talking to your doctor first is a neutral step. Trainers on this page do not replace medical advice.

Rules differ by state and city, and some trainers hold certifications from private organisations. Ask what they hold, and ask whether any licence or permit applies in your state.

It varies: a gym, a studio, outdoors or your home. Ask where, whether there is a charge for the space, and what equipment is used.

Terms differ. Ask whether you pay per session or in a block, what the cancellation notice is, and what happens with unused sessions. Get the terms in writing.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.
