We’re Still Adding Kosher Restaurant Pros in Kaneohe.

Kosher refers to Jewish dietary law. It covers which foods are allowed and how they are prepared, and it keeps meat and dairy apart. A restaurant is usually called kosher when a supervising rabbi or certifying organisation oversees its kitchen.

Ask to see the kosher certificate and which organisation or rabbi issued it. Pros Around does not check or grant kosher status, so confirm it with the restaurant and, if you wish, with the certifying body.

Under kosher rules, meat and dairy are not served together, so many kosher restaurants are either meat or dairy. Some serve fish or vegetarian food only. Ask which kind the restaurant is before you go.

Some kosher restaurants close for the Sabbath and Jewish holidays, so hours may differ from other restaurants. Ask for the opening days and times, and whether you should book ahead for events.

Ask the restaurant for its current menu. Pros Around does not hold menus or prices, so check with the business. If you have an allergy, kosher does not mean allergen-free. Tell the restaurant about your allergy and ask how the dish is made; Pros Around does not hold menus or ingredients.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
