We’re Still Adding Upholstery and Furniture Repair Pros in Wahiawa.

Ask the upholsterer to look at the frame, springs and padding, not just the cover. A solid frame is often what makes the job worthwhile. Ask them to quote the repair and the replacement fabric separately so you can decide.

Either can be arranged, so agree it up front. Ask how much fabric the piece needs, whether pattern matching adds to it, and who is responsible if the fabric you bring turns out to be unsuitable.

Often yes. Ask whether they repair wood, joints, veneer and finishes or only upholstery. Send photos and a description first, since the pro may be able to tell you what is possible before you bring the piece in.

It varies. Some work from a shop and some collect. Ask about collection and delivery charges, how long they will keep the piece, and what care they take of it while it is there.

Ask for the scope in writing, covering the fabric, padding, labour and any repair to the frame. Ask to see past work and what warranty they give. Ask whether any licence or permit applies in your state, for example for upholstery filling labels.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
