We’re Still Adding Tutoring Pros in Hanalei.

Decide the subject and the goal first, such as catching up, homework help or test preparation. Then ask the tutor how they plan the sessions, how they track progress and how they communicate with parents. Pros Around makes no claim about results.

Ask about their experience with the subject and age group, where and how sessions take place, how they handle cancellations, and what they will need from the student. Ask what qualifications they hold, as Pros Around does not check them.

Online sessions use a video call and shared screen, and in-person sessions meet at a home, library or other place. Ask the tutor which they offer and what equipment the student needs.

It depends on the student, the subject and the goal. Ask the tutor what they suggest and why, and agree on a point to review whether it is helping.

Ask where sessions will take place and who else will be present. Many parents stay nearby or use a public space or video call with a parent in the room. Ask the tutor about their own policies.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
