We’re Still Adding Foundation Repair Pros in Makawao.

Cracks, doors that stick and floors that slope can have several causes. Ask for an inspection and a written explanation of what is wrong. For a structural problem, ask whether an engineer's report is recommended.

Yes. Foundation repair is a large job, so ask two or three companies for a written diagnosis and quote, and compare what each says is wrong and how they would fix it.

The cause they believe it is, the method, how many repair points, what is dug up and put back, permits, the warranty and what it covers, and whether the warranty passes to a new owner.

It depends on the state, and sometimes the city. Where a licence is required, ask for the number and check it with the licensing board before work starts. On Pros Around, "Licence verified" means we matched the number to the board's record on the date shown. We do not check insurance.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
