We’re Still Adding Locksmith Pros in Grass Lake.

If a child, a pet or a person who needs help is inside, or there is a fire or gas risk, call the emergency number first. Otherwise, check for another way in that is yours to use, then call a locksmith. Be ready to prove you live at the address.

Many reputable locksmiths ask for identification and proof of address or ownership before opening a door or car. That protects you. Ask the business what it needs so you can have it ready when it arrives.

Yes. Re-keying changes the lock so a different key works and the old key does not, without replacing the whole lock. Replacing the lock is the other option. Ask the locksmith which one suits your doors and why, and what each costs.

Ask for the total price before work begins, including any call-out or travel charge, and whether it changes if the job is harder than expected. Ask for the business name and whether it keeps a local address. Be careful with anyone who will not give a price over the phone.

Some states license locksmiths and others do not. Ask whether any licence or permit applies in your state and where you can check it. We do not check insurance, so ask for proof of insurance if that matters to you.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
