We’re Still Adding Pool Contractor Pros in China.

The size and depth, the type of pool, the equipment, excavation and where the soil goes, fencing and any safety barrier required, permits, a schedule, and the warranty on each part.

It depends on the state, and sometimes the city. Where a licence is required, ask for the number and check it with the licensing board before work starts. On Pros Around, "Licence verified" means we matched the number to the board's record on the date shown. We do not check insurance.

Many cities require a barrier or fence around a pool. Ask your city what applies and ask the contractor whether the quote covers it.

Running costs include power for the pump, chemicals, water and cleaning. Ask the contractor what to expect, and ask for it in writing.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
