We’re Still Adding Drafting Services Pros in Amoret.

Drafters turn your ideas, measurements or sketches into scaled drawings, such as floor plans, elevations and sections. Ask what you will receive, in what file format, how many rounds of changes are included, and who owns the drawings.

No. A drafter prepares drawings, while architects and engineers take professional responsibility for design in their fields. Ask who signs and stamps the plans and whether your city requires it for your project.

That depends on your city and the project. Ask your city what it requires, then ask the drafting service whether they have prepared drawings for that kind of submission and what they would need from you.

Give them measurements or access to measure, photos, a sketch of what you want, any earlier plans, and the rules you know about, such as setbacks. Say what the drawings are for.

It depends on the state and the type of work. Ask whether any licence or registration applies in your state and where you can check it. We do not check insurance, so ask whether the business carries insurance for its work.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
