We’re Still Adding Environmental Consultant Pros in Blue Diamond.

People often hire one before buying or selling property, when planning construction, or when they suspect contamination or need help with environmental paperwork. Ask the consultant whether your situation calls for a site review, testing or reports.

It is a review of a property to look for signs of past or present contamination. It can include records research and a site visit, and sometimes sampling. Ask the consultant which type of assessment your situation needs and who asks for it, such as a lender or buyer.

Ask before the work starts who will use the report, for example a lender, a buyer or a local office, and whether it must follow a certain format. Tell the consultant so they prepare the right kind of report.

Ask whether any licence, certification or permit applies in your state for the work you need, as it can depend on the type of work. Do not assume a title means a licence. Ask the consultant to explain their qualifications.

That depends on what is found and the rules where the property is. Ask the consultant what the report would tell you, what options usually follow, and who decides next steps. For anything dangerous, contact the local health or environmental authority.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
