We’re Still Adding Framing Contractor Pros in Paradise.

Framers build the structure of a building from wood or steel: floors, walls, roof structure and openings. Typical jobs are new builds, additions, and altering walls. Ask whether the contractor works on jobs like yours and what they hand over at the end.

Often yes, because framing carries the building's weight. Ask your city what it requires and ask the contractor whether they work from approved drawings. If a wall may be load-bearing, get it checked before anyone cuts it.

It depends on the state, and sometimes the city. Ask which licence applies to your project and check the number with the licensing board. On Pros Around, Licence verified means we matched the number to the board's record on the date shown. We do not check insurance, so ask for proof.

The scope and drawings it is based on, the materials, labour, who pulls the permit, who orders and pays for inspections, and what is excluded. Ask how changes are priced if the plans change partway.

Framing usually comes before electrical, plumbing and HVAC rough-in, then insulation and drywall. Ask the contractor how the schedule works with your other trades and who coordinates inspections between stages.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
