We’re Still Adding Fencing Pros in Sandy Valley.

The length and height, the material and the style of gate, whether old fencing is removed, labour, any permit, and a start and finish date. Ask who marks the property line, and get the answer in writing.

Often a permit or a height rule applies, and homeowners' associations can add their own. Ask the city or county and your association before you sign, and ask the fence company who applies for any permit.

It depends on the state, and sometimes the city. Where a licence is required, ask for the number and check it with the licensing board before work starts. On Pros Around, "Licence verified" means we matched the number to the board's record on the date shown. We do not check insurance.

It depends on where the boundary is and on local rules. Check your property survey or title papers, and talk to your neighbour before work starts. A fence company can build on the line you show them, but it does not settle ownership.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
