We’re Still Adding Beauty Salon Pros in Lake Tahoe.

Salons differ in what they offer, such as hair, nails, brows or skin care. Ask for the full menu, which staff do what, and whether the service you want is done in-house.

Look at photos of recent work, read the reviews, and ask about the person who will do the service. A short chat before booking shows whether they listen.

It depends on the state, and sometimes the city. Different services can fall under different licences. Ask the salon which licences its staff hold and check them with the state board. Pros Around does not check insurance.

Tell them about any allergies, past reactions to products and any sensitivity. Ask how tools are cleaned. For a skin or health concern, ask a doctor.

Many salons let you combine services. Ask whether they can be done in one visit, how long the visit may run, and whether different staff are involved.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
