We’re Still Adding Photographer Pros in Lake Tahoe.

Ask what is included, how many edited images you receive, how and when you receive them, and what happens if they cannot make the date. Ask to see work that matches the kind of photos you want, such as portraits, events or a business shoot.

That depends on the photographer's terms. Ask whether you get the right to print the photos, post them online or use them for your business. If you need to use them in advertising, say so before you book and get the terms in writing.

Tell the photographer what the photos are for, where they will be used and any shots you must have. Talk about the place, time of day and what to wear. For an event, share the schedule and ask how they handle group shots.

Photographers handle this in different ways. Ask whether you receive only the edited images or also the originals, and in which file format. Ask how long they keep copies in case you need them again.

Ask before you book what the photographer does if you are unhappy, whether any reshoot or extra editing is possible, and what is refundable. Having the terms written down helps both sides.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
