We’re Still Adding Staffing Agency Pros in Lake Tahoe.

The agency finds workers for your business, for temporary, temp-to-hire or permanent roles, depending on the agreement. Ask who employs the worker day to day, who pays them and what your responsibilities are.

Ask how they find and screen workers, what checks they run, how fast they can fill a role, and what happens if a worker does not suit. Ask for the terms in writing, including any fee if you hire the worker directly.

Many agencies have terms for this, and they differ. Ask before you start what happens if you hire a worker you met through the agency, whether a fee applies, and after what period.

Yes, many agencies place job seekers. Ask what types of roles they fill, how they pay, and who your employer is while on assignment. Be careful if anyone asks you for a fee to find you work, and ask the agency to explain.

Give the agency a clear description of the role, the skills needed, the hours and the place of work. Ask how they match candidates and whether you can interview them before they start.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
