We’re Still Adding Animal Rescue Pros in Zephyr Cove.

A rescue takes in animals that need a home and works to place them with new owners. Each rescue runs differently, so ask how it operates, how animals are cared for and what happens if an adoption does not work out.

Ask the rescue what it needs, what the process is, and what it expects from volunteers and foster homes. Rules and needs differ between rescues.

Ask what the rescue knows about the animal's background, its behaviour with people and other pets, and its vet records. A rescue can only share what it knows. Ask for records in writing.

Many rescues accept donations of money, food or supplies. Ask the rescue what it needs and how to give. Check how the rescue is registered and what it does with gifts.

If an animal is hurt or in danger, call your local animal control or an emergency vet right away. A rescue may not be able to take every animal, so ask them what they can do.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
