We’re Still Adding Glass and Glazing Pros in Owyhee.

Glazing means fitting glass into a frame or opening, such as windows, doors, storefronts and shower enclosures. Glass repair often means replacing a broken pane. Ask the business which of these it does and whether it works on homes, shops or both.

Common types include tempered, laminated and double-glazed units. Which one is needed can depend on where the glass sits, such as near a door or in a shower. Ask the pro to explain which type they are quoting and why, and whether a local rule requires it.

It depends on the state, and sometimes the city or the size of the job. Ask whether a licence applies to your job and check the number with the licensing board. On Pros Around, Licence verified means we matched the number to the board's record on the date shown.

Keep people and pets away, wear thick gloves and shoes, and cover the opening if you can do so safely. If the glass broke in a break-in, call the police before touching anything.

It should say the size, type and thickness of the glass, the frame or hardware, removal of the old glass, labour, and whether the glass is made to order. Ask about the warranty and who disposes of the broken glass.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
