A regular clean covers the usual upkeep such as dusting, floors, kitchen and bathrooms. A deep clean usually adds harder jobs. Companies define these differently, so ask for a written checklist of what each visit includes.

Ask the company. Many bring their own, but some use what you have. If you want fragrance-free products, or have allergies or pets, say so when you book.

Ask. Some businesses send the same person or team, and others rotate. Ask how they handle a missed visit, a rescheduled visit or a problem with the work.

Agree it in advance: how they enter, the alarm code process, and where pets will stay. Ask the business how they store and protect keys and access details, and whether they have proof of insurance.

Tell the company soon, and say which items were missed. Ask before booking whether they will come back to fix the work and how they handle complaints.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
