We’re Still Adding Water Damage Restoration Pros in Austin.

If it is safe, stop the water at its source, switch off power to wet areas, and call a restoration company quickly. Take photos of the damage for your insurance claim.

The areas affected, the equipment and how long it will run, what is removed, drying and cleaning, what is not included, and how extra work is approved.

It depends on your policy and on the cause. Call your insurer, tell them what happened, and ask what they need. A restoration company can often give you the documents an insurer asks for.

It depends on the state, and sometimes the city. Where a licence is required, ask for the number and check it with the licensing board before work starts. On Pros Around, "Licence verified" means we matched the number to the board's record on the date shown. We do not check insurance.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
