We’re Still Adding Hair Braiding and Textured Hairstyles Pros in Battle Mountain.

Ask for photos of similar styles, how the style is done, and how the braider looks after your scalp and edges. Agree on the final look before they start.

It depends on the state. Some states have a separate rule for braiding, some fold it into cosmetology, and some have no licence for it. Ask whether any licence or permit applies in your state and check with the state board. Pros Around does not check insurance.

Practice differs. Ask whether the braider supplies hair or expects you to bring it, and what type to buy. Ask before you book so there are no surprises.

Ask the braider. Some like hair clean and detangled and some prefer to do it themselves. Ask what to do and whether there is a charge if they have to do it.

Ask the braider for aftercare for your style and hair. Tell them about any scalp sensitivity before you start. Pros Around cannot give health advice.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
