We’re Still Adding Moving Company Pros in Alamo.

Ask for a written estimate and what it covers, how the final price is worked out, whether it is a binding or a non-binding quote, and what could add charges, such as stairs or long carries. Ask who does the work and if any part is subcontracted.

Ask what coverage comes with the move, what is not covered, any limit on liability per item or per move, and how a claim is made. State rules differ and Pros Around does not check insurance, so ask to see the paperwork.

The rules and the way the price is worked out can differ, and long-distance moves can involve more paperwork and a longer delivery window. Ask the company how it treats your move and what it puts in writing.

Keep valuables and important papers with you. Walk through with the crew, read the paperwork before you sign, and note any damage or missing item before the crew leaves. Ask how to file a claim.

Many offer packing as an extra and some do not. Ask whether it is included in the estimate, who supplies the boxes, and how fragile or high-value items are handled.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
