We’re Still Adding Small Engine and Lawn Equipment Repair Pros in Alamo.

Common items are lawn mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, blowers and generators, but shops differ. Ask whether they work on your brand and model.

Give the brand and model, describe what it does or fails to do, and say when the problem started. Ask them to call you with a quote before starting work.

Read the manual first, and take care with fuel and moving blades. If you are not sure, a shop can look at it. Ask for a quote on the diagnosis before you commit.

It depends on the fault and the cost of parts. Ask the shop for an honest view, the quote for the repair and whether parts are available for your model.

Many do. Ask what a tune-up covers, such as blades, filters and spark plugs, and whether pick-up and delivery is available.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
