We’re Still Adding Security Guard Company Pros in Gerlach.

It depends on the state, and sometimes the city. Many states license security companies and require guards to hold a registration or card. Ask for the company's licence number and check it with the licensing board. On Pros Around, 'Licence verified' means we matched the number to the board's record on the date shown.

Armed guards carry a firearm, and rules on that differ by state. Ask the company what its guards carry, what extra authorisation applies, and what they recommend for your site. Explain what you are worried about so they can suggest a fit.

Look for the post locations, hours, guard duties, reporting method and who supervises the guards. Ask about proof of insurance, since Pros Around does not check insurance, and about what happens if a guard does not show up.

Many offer event, retail, office and site security, but each differs. Ask what experience they have with your type of site, how many guards they suggest and why, and how they communicate with you during the shift.

Security guards do not replace the emergency services. In a fire, medical emergency or crime in progress, call the emergency number first. Ask the company how its guards respond and who they call.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
