Packing wraps and boxes items for a move or shipment. Crating builds a custom wooden or sturdy case, often for fragile, heavy or high-value pieces such as art or machines. Ask the business which suits your item.

Ask what materials they use, whether they come to you, how they pack fragile items, and what the written quote covers. Ask who arranges transport and what the cover is if an item is damaged.

Many do, but it varies. Tell them where the item is going and how long it will be there, and ask what they recommend for that trip.

It helps. Photograph valuable items and note their condition before they are packed, and ask the business for a list of what was packed and how.

It depends on who moves the item and on the agreement. Ask the business what it covers, any limit on liability, and how a claim is made. Pros Around does not check insurance.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
