We’re Still Adding Eyeglasses Store Pros in Toronto.

Some stores have an eye care professional on site or nearby and some only sell frames and lenses. Ask the store whether exams are offered and how to book. Pros Around does not give medical advice.

Bring your current prescription if you have one, and your current glasses to compare. If you want to use an insurance plan, ask the store which plans it takes and what to bring.

Tell the store how you use your glasses, such as screens, driving or reading, and ask what lens options and coatings fit and what each adds to the total. Try frames on and check the fit before you order.

It can take a short time to adjust, but ask the store what its policy is on adjustments, remakes and returns before you pay. If you have headaches or blurred sight that does not settle, contact your eye care professional.

You can ask your eye care professional for it. Ask when you book an exam what you will receive. If you are buying elsewhere, bring that copy with you.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
