We’re Still Adding Electrical Pros in Haverhill.

Call one for tripping breakers, warm outlets or switches, flickering lights across a room, a burning smell, or any work inside the panel. If you smell burning or see sparks, switch off the power at the main and call straight away.

Almost always for work beyond minor repairs, but the rules differ by state. Ask for the licence number and check it with the state board. On Pros Around, "Licence verified" means we matched the number to the board's record on the date shown.

The scope (what is added, moved or replaced), materials, labour, whether a permit and inspection are needed and who arranges them, and the time the power will be off.

Often yes for new circuits, panel changes and major rewiring; the rules are set by the city or county. Ask the electrician whether the job needs one and who applies. Work done without a required permit can cause trouble when you sell or claim on insurance.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
