We’re Still Adding Countertops Pros in Amber.

The material and where the slab comes from, the measurements, edge style, cutouts for the sink and hob, removing the old counters, installation, and the time between measuring and fitting.

For stone, slabs differ in colour and pattern, so ask whether you can see and choose the slab before it is cut, and whether the quote covers that slab.

Disconnecting and reconnecting a sink or hob is sometimes included and sometimes not. Ask who does it and whether it is in the price.

Usually there is a measuring visit, then a wait while the countertops are made, then the fitting. Ask for the dates of each step in writing.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
