We’re Still Adding Tree Service Pros in Philomath.

Which trees and which work (trimming, removal, stump grinding), whether the wood and branches are hauled away, how they protect the property, and the price for the whole job in writing.

Call one for large trees, branches near power lines or buildings, or any work that needs climbing or a chainsaw above the ground. If a branch is touching a power line, keep away and call the power company.

Yes. Tree work can damage property or injure people, so ask to see proof of insurance and for the name of the insurer. Pros Around does not check insurance.

Some cities and homeowners' associations restrict removing certain trees. Ask the city and your association first, and ask the tree service whether they know of any rule for your tree.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
