We’re Still Adding Phone and Electronics Repair Pros in Pawtucket.

Back up your data if you can, note any passcode or account locks, and ask the shop whether it needs them. Ask what they do with your data, and remove any private files you do not want them to see.

It might. Warranty terms depend on the maker and the plan, so check yours or ask the maker before you repair it elsewhere. Ask the repair shop about its own warranty on the work.

Many shops fix screens. Water damage is harder and results vary. Ask the shop to look at the device, tell you what it can do and what it cannot, and explain the quote before work begins.

Ask the shop which parts it uses, where they come from, and whether they differ from the maker's. Ask whether the price changes with the choice.

Ask the shop for a written quote and an honest view of the device's condition, then compare with the price of a replacement. Also ask what happens if they cannot fix it and whether a diagnosis fee applies.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
