We’re Still Adding Pastry Shop Pros in Block Island.

A bakery usually sells bread and baked goods in general, while a pastry shop focuses on sweet items such as croissants, tarts, éclairs and cakes. Many shops do both. Look at the shop's listing or ask what it makes.

Some shops take custom or bulk orders and some do not. Ask how far ahead to order, what flavours and sizes are offered, and how to collect or arrange delivery. Pros Around does not take orders.

Pastry kitchens often use flour, butter, eggs and nuts side by side, so traces can end up in other items. Tell the restaurant about your allergy and ask how the dish is made; Pros Around does not hold menus or ingredients.

It depends on the shop. Ask when items are baked, what sells out early, and whether you can reserve something. Opening hours and stock are set by each shop.

Ask the shop for its current list of items, or check its own website. Pros Around does not hold menus or prices, so check with the business.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
