We’re Still Adding Pool Cleaning Pros in Ben Franklin.

It depends on the business, so ask for the list. Common items include skimming, brushing, vacuuming, emptying baskets, checking the pump and filter, and testing and balancing the water. Ask whether chemicals are included in the visit price or billed separately.

A one-off clean suits a pool that has been neglected or is being opened for the season. Regular visits suit keeping it in shape. Ask the provider what it recommends for your pool and what each option includes.

Many can, but it often takes more than a normal visit. Ask for a quote for the recovery work, what chemicals and equipment it involves, and whether the regular service starts afterwards. Keep people and pets out of the water until the provider says it is safe.

Ask how often they visit, what they test the water for, who supplies the chemicals, and how they tell you what they found. Ask what happens if you have a problem between visits and whether it is a flat monthly price or per visit.

Rules for pool service differ by state and sometimes by county. Ask the business whether any licence or permit applies and where you can check it. We do not check insurance, so ask for proof of insurance.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
