We’re Still Adding Auto Mechanic Pros in Rolling Hills.

Ask for a written estimate with parts and labour separate, whether the shop will call you before doing extra work, what warranty comes with the repair, and whether you can have the old parts back.

Many shops charge to find the cause of a fault, since it takes a technician's time. Ask the price beforehand and whether it is taken off the repair if you go ahead.

Some states license or register repair shops and some do not. Where the state has a register, the board's website will tell you. We show a licence mark only where we have matched a number to a board's record.

Ask each shop to list the same parts (new, used or reconditioned), the labour hours, and the warranty. A lower price can mean a different part or a shorter warranty.

The price depends on the size and difficulty of the job. Some pros publish a starting price on their listing. Ask two or three for a written quote that says what is included, and compare the scope as well as the price.

Only customers who contacted a pro through Pros Around can review them, using a link that works once. Pros can reply but cannot delete a review, and reviews are never sold. An admin hides a review only if it breaks our rules, and the reason is recorded.

By the plan a pro has chosen, then a Featured badge, then review quality. A higher plan can place a pro higher; between pros on the same plan, reviews decide. Anything paid for is labelled.
