About the United States on Pros Around
Pros Around covers 54 cities in the United States today, with 249 more planned. Across the places that are live we list 158,263 businesses in 277 kinds of service. Choose a state, then a county and a city, then the service you need.
Where we found a business in public records, its page says where the details came from and when we listed it. Businesses found this way are shown in A to Z order, and nothing about their order is ranked or paid for. Pros who have joined Pros Around are labelled by plan, and every quote request goes to the one pro you choose.
Licensing rules differ from state to state. Each state page names the licensing board and what to check before you hire.
Before you hire anyone, in any state, do three things. Ask for the licence number in writing and look it up with the licensing office. Ask for proof of insurance, because a licence does not prove it. Get a written estimate with the start and finish dates before you pay a deposit.
Something wrong or out of date on a business page? Every page has a link to remove or correct the listing, and we read every request.
Own a business here? It may already be listed: find your listing to see the page customers see. How we check licences and order the pros is explained on our Trust page.
