Check Aurora Nails's licence yourself

We do not hold a licence record for Aurora Nails. Rhode Island licenses this work, and the License Finder points you to the right board.

Find the Rhode Island board that licenses this work (opens careeronestop.org in a new tab)

1. Ask Aurora Nails for its Rhode Island licence number. Businesses that hold one usually put it on quotes and contracts.
2. Open the License Finder (careeronestop.org), choose Rhode Island, search for this profession, and follow the link to the Rhode Island board's own licence lookup. Use the board's site, not a search result or a link a business sent you.
3. Search by the licence number. If you have no number, search by the business name ("Aurora Nails"); if that finds nothing, try the owner's name, because the licence may be under another name.
4. Check that the status is active, that the licence type covers your job, and that the name on the record matches. If the lookup shows complaints or discipline, read them.
5. Not found, expired or under a different name? Ask the business to explain before you hire or contact the board.

The CareerOneStop License Finder (US Department of Labor) lists which Rhode Island agency licenses a profession and links to it. Pros Around does not run these lookups and cannot confirm what they show.

Check before you hire

• Ask for the licence number in writing and look it up with the licensing office.
• Ask for proof of insurance. A licence does not prove it.
• Get a written estimate with the start and finish dates before you pay a deposit.
