About Vermont on Pros Around

Pros Around covers 345 cities in Vermont today. Across the places that are live we list 16,787 businesses in 248 kinds of service. Choose a county, then a city, then the service you need.

Where we found a business in public records, its page says where the details came from and when we listed it. Businesses found this way are shown in A to Z order, and nothing about their order is ranked or paid for. Pros who have joined Pros Around are labelled by plan, and every quote request goes to the one pro you choose.

Many trades in Vermont need a licence. Check that the class matches your job, and that the licence is current, with your state's licensing board before you hire.

Before you hire anyone, in Vermont, do three things. Ask for the licence number in writing and look it up with the licensing office. Ask for proof of insurance, because a licence does not prove it. Get a written estimate with the start and finish dates before you pay a deposit.

Something wrong or out of date on a business page? Every page has links to claim or remove the listing, and we read every request.

Own a business in Vermont? It may already be listed: find your listing to see the page customers see. How we check licences and order the pros is explained on our Trust page.
